Jeff True has more than three decades of experience in the aluminum window industry. He began his career as an installer and later joined True Enterprises, Inc. as an estimator and field service expert. Jeff leverages his extensive knowledge of the aluminum window industry to find innovative solutions to today’s design challenges.
Now as the second-generation owner of True Enterprises, Inc., Jeff’s responsibilities include architect support, estimating, CAD details, shop drawings, specification development, and field-testing. He also delivers continuing education presentations to architectural firms, specification writers, and glass and glazing sub-contractors.
Jeff specializes in historical window replacement projects involving the exacting standards of the National Park Service. He has worked on many large historically significant projects such as the 26 Court St. project in Boston, MA., JFK Federal Building in Boston, MA.., the former Winchester Firearms factory in New Haven, CT., the former Yale Lock factory in Stamford, CT. and the former American Locomotive factory in Providence, RI. Jeff has also worked with colleges and universities throughout New England such as Bryant University, MIT, Providence College, UCONN, UMASS, URI, UVM, Yale University and many others to upgrade the windows on their historically significant buildings as well as their residential and academic buildings.
Beyond historical window replacement projects, Jeff has worked with many municipalities throughout New England to provide windows for both new construction and renovation K-12 school projects.
Jeff and his family reside in Old Saybrook, CT. Prior to joining the window industry, Jeff served as Old Saybrook Fire Department Chief 2003-2007.
