“Woody” Sutton Miller has been named President of Winco Window. The son of Kory and Gantt Miller—named after his maternal grandfather, Woodrow Kubutsky—Woody represents the fourth generation of his family to work in the business.
Woody’s career at Winco began while he was still in high school, working on the assembly line and later assisting in the construction of several of the company’s facilities. He officially joined the company full-time in 2017, taking on leadership of Winco’s manufacturing operations and serving on the firm’s newly established steering committee. One of his first initiatives was to coordinate plant operations to improve efficiency and communication, a goal he continues to advance through the integration of new equipment and processes. These efforts have played a key role in expanding Winco’s presence in the window industry.
As President, Woody’s mission is to increase company throughput while maintaining—or improving—margins, enabling continued capital investment as well as internal growth and development.
“Winco’s windows are completely custom, and our goal is to remain extremely nimble,” says Miller. “We have an exceptionally skilled team of craftsmen and women, and we carefully consider every detail that goes into the building opening—from depth and thickness and size, to glass construction, coatings, glazing pockets, and overall structural and performance requirements.”
A veteran of the construction industry, Woody’s path to leadership at Winco was a natural progression rooted in hands-on experience. Prior to joining the company full-time, he played an integral role in the design and construction of several Winco facilities, further deepening his understanding of the business from the ground up.
Outside of work, Woody enjoys the great outdoors and challenging adventures. He is an avid downhill skier and rock climber, and he lives in St. Louis while traveling frequently for both business and recreation.
