Florida School Given Second Chance Just as a Pandemic Occurs
The pandemic gave a first-time principal and the construction crew a chance to make the project perfect! Davenport Elementary's new school campus encompasses 118,000 sq. ft., including renovation of the original school and the construction of a new two-story classroom building, library, and cafeteria.
WINCO Series 4410S impact single-hung windows were installed. Not only was this a smart decision to reduce energy costs, but the windows provide durability with little maintenance for years to come. A scrolled receptor was used to revive the historic appearance and to achieve a more efficient installation. Laminated impact-resistant hurricane glass was installed for providing exceptional security, safety, and acoustic benefits. The windows include screens, vertical mullions and covers, and are trimmed with a crisp 70% Kynar bone white finish both inside and out.
