Soundcheck at Granite Hills High School’s Building 200
Granite Hills High School ‘s Building 200 in El Cajon, California, is a two-story structure housing classrooms for the school’s Television Film, Culinary Arts, and Nurses Vocational Programs. To take advantage of the balmy, sunny climate, WINCO’s 3600 Series pre-glazed windows fit the bill. Offering low maintenance, years of performance, and styling ideal for daylighting, the 3600 windows were outfitted with screens for ventilation, and coated with Solarban 60 for UV protection. In addition, laminated glass helps meet the LEED requirement for noise control in schools, providing Building 200 with acoustical performance STC ratings up to 50 depending on configurations.
